&Beyond Suyian Lodge

Nestled along an escarpment overlooking a natural rocky outcrop, the soon-to-open Suyian Lodge has been constructed to blend in with its natural surrounds, providing breathtaking views of the conservancy. The lodge draws inspiration from its unique surrounds amidst the region’s ancient rock sanctuary and the indigenous plant life that lives in between the granite edges.

NSE designed an off-grid solar system that features an integrated 1MW battery energy storage system (BESS). The solar system was designed to blend in with the lodge’s upmarket architectural approach and to enable this facility to operate sustainably and independently.
